Warning Signs
- Betting more than you decided to, or more than you can afford to lose
- Chasing a loss with a bigger stake to get back to even
- Borrowing, selling things, or using money meant for bills to gamble
- Hiding how much you play from people close to you
- Gambling to escape stress, boredom, anxiety or low mood
- Feeling irritable or restless when you try to cut down
- Losing interest in things you used to enjoy
If several of those are familiar, talk to one of the services above today. None of them will judge you and none of them will ask you to stop before you are ready to talk.
Tools That Work
- Deposit limits. Set them when you open the account, while it is easy. Every operator here offers them.
- Loss and session limits. A time limit is often more effective than a money limit, because it interrupts the pattern rather than the amount.
- Cooling-off. A short lock, from a day to a few weeks. Genuinely useful across a pending withdrawal, when the temptation to reverse it is highest.
- Self-exclusion. A long or permanent block. Ask support directly and put it in writing.
- Blocking software. Gamban and BetBlocker restrict gambling sites across your devices. BetBlocker is free.
- Bank blocks. Many banks and card issuers will block gambling transactions on request, which is harder to undo in a weak moment.
Editorial Note
This site is about getting your money out of a casino quickly. That is a useful thing to know and it is not a reason to play. The house edge is real, most players lose over time, and no withdrawal speed changes that arithmetic. If reading a page like this one feels less like curiosity and more like planning, that is worth paying attention to.
